Joint Director of Estates and Facilities, Kent & Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership NHS Trust and Kent Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Our patients and service users are always at the heart of everything we do, and this post will lead on ensuring that both Trusts’ estates continue to provide a safe, compliant, energy efficient, value for money, high quality environments for our patients, colleagues and members of the public, in locations which are co-located through collaboration.

With a combined workforce of 500 operating from more than 800 sites, including 9 community hospitals, and with a growing strategic collaboration between our two organisations, KMPT and KCHFT are joining the Directors of Estates and Facilities to allow better strategic alignment of their services.  This role therefore provides an exceptional opportunity to exercise both operational and strategic leadership across two community-based healthcare providers.  The role will ensure both organisations’ delivery of services align with wider local Integrated Care Network needs, and with the Integrated Care System covering Kent and Medway.  With the ability to renew KCHFT’s estates strategy and with a new KMPT strategy to deliver, this role also offers the ability to maintain an ‘Outstanding’ CQC rating for KCHFT and to play a central role in KMPT’s journey from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’.
